Security Equipment
These things were worn and carried around by people of authority such as policemen and security guards.
Ring of Keys
Some people carried around a ring of keys. Most of the time, the only people who carried them around were the people who had to open up a business or some other buildings that required keys.
Rotary Telephone
This was the basic telephone in the 1900’s. Most people did not have these in their homes. This specific telephone was probably used as decoration.
Electric Radio
This was a staple in all of the homes. Everyone used these as a form of entertainment. There were shows that would come on at certain times and everyone would gather around the radio and listen to them.
Christmas Cookie Tin
These tins came with cookies inside. People would save the tins to store sewing supplies and other miscellaneous items in, as well as storage for homemade cookies so they could bring them to social gatherings.
Electric Iron
This was a new iron. These came out in the early 1900’s. Some families had them, but some did not. This was one of the first electric irons.
Kitchen Wall Decoration
This is another example of a typical wall decoration. This specific one may have been found in a kitchen.
